Metronidal®
(metronidazol)
Clinical particulars:
Parenteral dosage form of the synthetic antiprotozoal and antibacterial agent with exellent activity agaist anaerobic bacteria. Metronidal® is indicated in the treatment of serious infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria and mixed aerobic and anaerobic infection:
- Intra-abdominal infections
- Skin and skin structure infections
- Gynecologic infections
- Bacterial septicemia
- Bone and joint infections
- Central nervous system (CNS) infections
- Lower respiratory tract infections
- Endocarditis
Also Metronidal® is indicated in the treatment of acute intestinal amebiasis (amebic dysentery) and amebic liver abscess.
Pharmaceutical form: Iso-osmotic, buffered solution for intravenous infusion
100 mL single dose glas vial, each containing of 500 mg metronidazole
